Udruženje građana “NEŠTO VIŠE” počinje sa realizacijom novog projekta pod nazivom „ Jačanje mira, sigurnosti, mentalnog zdravlja i jednakosti analizom govora mržnje u medijima u Bosni i Hercegovini i smanjenje njegove pojave i posljedica kroz radionice i kampanje zagovaranja”. Aktivnosti na kojim ćemo raditi su:
- Istraživanje i analiza utjecaja govora mržnje na mir u Bosni i Hercegovini, njegovog utjecaja na mentalno zdravlje mladih, te njegovih učinaka na sigurnost i ravnopravnost
- Analiza prisutnosti komentara i sadržaja koji se mogu okarakterizirati kao govor mržnje u elektronskim medijima u Bosni i Hercegovini
- Radionice o prepoznavanju govora mržnje, prevenciji i otklanjanju njegovih posljedica.
- Radionice za predstavnike elektroničkih medija o izradi prijedloga i pronalaženju mogućnosti za smanjenje širenja govora mržnje u javnoj medijskoj sferi
- Pokretanje zagovaračke kampanje o potrebi edukacije medijskih i obrazovnih djelatnika, ali i mladih o posljedicama i načinima sprječavanja govora mržnje
- Edukativne radionice za djecu školske dobi o prepoznavanju, prevenciji i razumijevanju posljedica govora mržnje

A new project supported by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives – Bosnia and Herzegovina
Citizens’ Association “NEŠTO VIŠE” begins with the implementation of a new project entitled “Strengthening peace, security, mental health and equality by analyzing hate speech in the media in Bosnia and Herzegovina and reducing its occurrence and consequence through workshops and advocacy campaigns”. The activities we will work on are:
- Research and analysis of the impact of hate speech on peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, its impact on the mental health of young people, and its effects on safety and equality.
- Analysis of the presence of comments and content that can be characterized as hate speech in the electronic media in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Workshops on recognizing hate speech, prevention and elimination of its consequences.
- Workshops for representatives of the electronic media on drafting proposals and finding opportunities to reduce the spread of hate speech in the public media sphere.
- Launching an advocacy campaign on the need to educate media and education workers, as well as young people on the consequences and ways of preventing hate speech.
- Educational workshops for school-aged children on recognizing, prevention and understanding of the consequences of hate speech.
