The goal of the project “Communities of Different but Equal Citizens” is to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina to achieve a higher level of their involvement in the European integration process, focusing on increasing social inclusion and non-discrimination of persons with disabilities.
Specific objective: Increased involvement of civil society organizations in the process of European integration, as well as in the decision-making process at the level of BiH, with an emphasis on fundamental rights, social inclusion and non-discrimination of persons with disabilities
R1: Increased capacitites related to the exchange of experinece and information, monitoring and public advocacy of two networks of organizations of persons with disabilities
R2: Increased inclusion of other civil society organizations, which are not primarily organizations of persons with disabilities, as well as local authorities
R3: The integration of persons with disabilities is advocated and widely promoted through the organization of various joint activities involving CS0s, the media, the authorities and the public, and thorugh involvement in decision-making processes.

The project is being implemented by: The organization “UDAS” is implementing the project in partnership with the Helsinki Citizens’ Parliament Banja Luka and the Association of Citizens “Nešto Više” Sarajevo.
II Description of activities:Professional practice (Internship) – Gaining two months of work experince
AC “Nešto Više” withing the EU CDEC/21-002 invites unemployed young people with a university degree who can contribute to the realization of the rights of persons with disabilities, through work within organizations or associations aimed at improving the position of persons with disabilities from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina to apply for two months of work experience.
The aim of this activity is to enable unemployed young people (under 30 years of age) with a university degree to gain two months of work experience. All registered persons who will be selected- a total of 20 of them, during the entire project, will have the opportunity to in the period of eight weeks gain work experience, working in associations/organiizations dealing with the improvement of the position of persons with disabilities, in accordance with their diploma.
Note: Professional practice is an activity that is not recognized within the official qualifications framework (“workbooks”).
The call is intended for unemployed young people ( under 30 years of age) with a university degree in various fields of study.
All selected applicants will receive compensation for their two-month engagement in the total, gross, amount of 880.00 KM, taxes based on the contract of employment are included in the specific amount.
The following activities will be carried out for the selected project beneficiaries:
Development of job descriptions for engagement: UGNV staff will work with employers to develop job descriptions for each selected person;
Two-month internship: Each selected person will work full-time for eight weeks with an employer of their choice and will keep a diary in which they will enter pre-defined data;

The final selection of selected candidates will be made no later than February 28, 2020 year and only selected candidates will be contacted.
