Who’s changing the world? Bold, valuable, prying, innovative, open to learning and progressing, resourceful, and ready to help others! That’s what we saw today at work: the ladies from the Women’s’ Association “Most” from Jablanica hosted their young friends (by experience) from the Women’s’ Association “Vrba” from Gnojnica, Mostar. The first ones celebrate their tenth, and the others their first anniversary.
They exchanged experiences, stories, anecdotes, the path with ups and downs Mostar ladies went through to achieve what they are today, and where young “Vrbe” (Willows) want to be.
They talked about leadership, women and their roles in society and the local community. They talked about self-confidence and resolve to stay united and to support one another because without that there is no development. We also discussed ways of establishing social enterprises, about the production of juices and preparations of fruit, jam, chutney, the valuable hands of the woman from the “Most” produce, and thus finance their work and projects in the community, and therefore triggering positive changes in their local community. Housewives have shown and production line and ways to store products.
Thanks to all the lovely ladies on beautiful energy, and on all future cooperations that will emerge from this meeting.
