03/27/2016 Sunday, and today, as yesterday, our friends from LightMedia Production doo Tuzla (www.lightmedia.ba) volunteered all day on the farm, installing an electrical installation in one of the houses on the property.
They say they have heard that we share all the food we grow with our friends and associates from organizations working with marginalized groups – so they have expressed a desire to come to us one weekend and help us using their skills. And here they are – this weekend the owner Amir Suljagić, with his employees Kemal, Bajr and Emir, and with our colleagues Duško, Adem and Risto did more than 120 volunteer hours – while doing a job that would have cost us a lot if we had to do the service to pay.
We don’t have enough words of praise for you guys! We hope that you will visit us again soon, this time to enjoy delicious fruits and vegetables, and the beautiful nature. And we wish you a lot of success in your work, you deserve it!
We picked some greens for our colleagues from Sarajevo, and we also prepared a special Easter basket with vegetables and flowers for our volunteer Milka, who has the most volunteer hours on the farm.
Activities are organized within the Slightly More project “Support to Agricultural Development in Herzegovina”, supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
