-Apply: the first series of trainings at the Agricultural Center begins

In the coming period, and no later than mid-December 2014, the staff of the Association of Citizens Something More intends to organize the following trainings at the Agricultural Center for Professional Development in Mostar:

1. Agriculture for beginners: Production of medicinal, spicy and aromatic herbs
2. Development of own business plan (in agriculture)
3. Life skills: effective communication

1. Agriculture for beginners: Production of medicinal, spicy and aromatic herbs – this is a one-day training consisting of a theoretical part that will be done in the Training Center, and a practical part that will include a field visit to the Experimental Farm UG Something More, and / or to one of the successful producers of medicinal / spicy / aromatic herbs. Total number of participants in the training: 20. Primarily unemployed people, young people up to 30 years and women regardless of age, who would seriously consider starting agricultural production, but also all others interested in the world of agriculture are encouraged to apply for training. Preliminary applications (with answers to the following questions: name and surname, telephone number, year of birth, place of residence, are you employed and where, why am I interested in this training?) 2. Creating your own business plan – start-up training (in agriculture) – it is a two-day training that will bring together 20 participants, people who already have a certain business idea under consideration (of course in the field of agriculture). Participants will be asked to prepare for the training, with precise instructions on what to prepare before starting the training. Primarily unemployed people, young people up to 30 years of age and women regardless of age, who would seriously consider starting agricultural production or would like to improve existing agricultural production to apply for training, are encouraged. Within the project, there is a fund to support the registration of new companies (start-up fund). Training participants, who register their company within 6 months after the end of the training, have the right to apply for reimbursement of part of the registration costs (up to 50%) from the project funds. 3. Life skills: effective communication (verbal and non-verbal communication) – this is a one-day training that will bring together 15 participants. On the topic of effective communication, one or two sub-topics will be added, at the choice of the participants, such as e.g. teamwork, planning, leadership, SWOT analysis, etc. Primarily unemployed people, young people up to 30 years of age and women regardless of age, who want to raise their chances in the labor market through better communication, are encouraged to apply for training. Your profession or job you are trying to find should be related to agriculture, processing and / or nutrition. Preliminary applications should be sent to the above-mentioned contacts as soon as possible, since, among other things, the order of the candidate’s application will be taken into account. All registered candidates will be contacted with further instructions related to the application process.

The staff of UG Nešto Više predicts that all the above trainings will be held in the period between 10.11.2014. and 12.12.2014. years. The staff of the Association reserves the right to change the subject of training, if the need arises.

All trainings are organized within the project “Support to Agricultural Development in Herzegovina” which is financially supported by USAID, and implemented by the Association Something More.
