-Free trainings in the wood and metal sector within the EU project are starting

Within the project funded by the EU “Technical Academy for Wood and Metal Processing” Teslić (Wood and Metal Technical Academy) in the premises of the Public High School “Nikola Tesla” in Teslić provided space, necessary equipment and staff for training for the following occupations:
In the wood sector: furniture designer (Corpus software), painter / varnisher;
In the metal sector: machine parts designer (Inventor software), welder.
Applications from potential candidates for training are being received. Trainings are free for selected candidates. Preference is given to unemployed young people and people over the age of 45. The trainings will start in the first half of September 2014.

Legal entities enclose with the completed application for legal entities the Decision on registration and Requests for natural persons, for each employee individually.
Applications can be completed manually or electronically.

The project is implemented by the Association of Citizens “Something More”, in partnership with the Public High School “Nikola Tesla” Teslic. The total value of the project is 110,540.34 euros, of which the European Union finances 93,940.34 euros from IPA 2009, and the Municipality of Teslić 16,600 euros.

Welder – TIG procedure
Candidates are trained for the TIG welding process. The metals that are most often welded in TIG are: carbon and low-alloy steels, stainless steels, nickel alloys, aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, titanium, cobalt alloys, colombium alloys, molybdenum, tungsten, copper alloys, aluminum bronze, pure copper. The training is in accordance with the Welder Training Program of the Institute for Adult Education of the Republic of Srpska.
Painters:
Candidates are trained for the process of varnishing wooden surfaces in the furniture industry, through the processes of preparation for varnishing and varnishing, while maintaining the high quality of the varnishing process, from preparation to the finished-varnished part. The training is in accordance with the Training Program for Painters of the Institute for Adult Education of the Republic of Srpska.
Furniture designer – Corpus program
Candidates are trained to use the Corpus program, which enables interior design by designing furniture in 3D, creating offers for the customer and creating orders for cutting materials. The program enables the completion of the entire process in furniture design (ordering, making and defining the selling price and / or cost of materials). The training is in line with the training program of the program producers.
Machine parts designer – Inventor program
Candidates are trained to use the Inventor program (Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD software) which allows modeling to make machine parts. The training covers the areas of basic part modeling, connecting parts into assemblies, creating 2D drawings from 3D drawings, creating advanced drawings and adding details, and advanced tools for assembling assemblies and engineering. The training is in line with the training program of the program producers.
