During many years of work, we have identified the problem of lack of education on climate change, our impact on it, as well as the inability to predict local climate extremes, which pose a problem for farmers, beekeepers, and all of us.
The main goal of the project is to increase awareness among the residents of Mostar about the impact of climate change on the security and stability of individuals, groups, communities, and the world, achieved through specific project objectives. The citizens’ association “NEŠTO VIŠE” will work over the 9-month duration of this project to educate the youngest (from 5th to 11th grades), journalists, activists, NGOs active in ecology and environmental protection, local farmers, beekeepers, and finally all interested citizens concerned with environmental protection issues, particularly our impact on the environment in terms of climate change. Additionally, a mini meteorological station will be installed at the Permaculture Farm of the NGO “NEŠTO VIŠE” to record climate parameters at the micro-location of North Mostar.
The project is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.
Project value: 7,601 EUR
