Citizens’ Association „NEŠTO VIŠE“ invites all interested young people (from 15 to 35 years old) to apply for this call, which we are publishing as part of “Support for ideas of social entrepreneurship and development of young people from the Western Balkans”. We are looking for TEAMS OF YOUNG PEOPLE (mandatory teams of two or more people) who are ready to participate in the program we have called “RISE” and who can spare a few hours a week for active participation in the project in our language and in English, usually via ZOOM . The RISE Journey is a specially tailored program that is free to participate in and will help you learn, grow and make changes in your environment. We are focused on collaboration, exchange of ideas and peer learning in order to achieve better results.
The two teams that best develop their ideas through the ideation phase will each receive 6,000 KM!
Do you have an idea or an innovative solution for a new and better approach to education, women’s empowerment, culture, rural development, health or employment in your community? Social entrepreneurship skills, knowledge and experience will help you solve social and/or environmental issues of particular interest to you and help you earn while doing it!
Apply and be one of the 36 selected RISE teams from the region (6 teams each from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia). During the 3 months of Ideation, you will build your idea from scratch to a business model. On that journey, you will have the support of experts and mentors, with whom you will go through all the important steps in starting a social enterprise.
The two best teams from BiH, i.e. a total of 12 teams from the region, will receive financial and practical support to implement their ideas and have a positive impact on the local community.
We offer you mentoring, training, socializing, entertainment, trips in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, networking with experts, and of course we also offer financial resources for teams.

RISE The journey has several steps:
- Ideation chapter – Support in the development of your idea, lasting 3 months;
- Tailor-made support program for the development of your idea; Demo Day;
- Incubation Chapter – lasting 4 months; Idea testing and validation, grant for business idea development;
- Regional travel and networking;
- RISE The final event.
Note: The online application is filled out by only one person from the team (team leader who must be over 18 years old)!

Our Association Nešto Više is one of the 6 organizations from the Western Balkans that was selected as “Local Structure (LS)”.
