UG “Nešto Više” today took participants on the round table “Models of social entrepreneurship in BiH”, which was held in Sarajevo with representatives of social enterprises in BiH.
The results of the analysis are presented to identify social enterprises in BiH, which currently operate in this area. Also, at the round table were presented the activities of the project related to the development of the legal framework in the field of social entrepreneurship in BiH who are in the procedure at different levels of government, and activities to enhance the capacity of social enterprises through the direct financial support of social enterprises in the framework of the project.
UG “Nešto Više” is the founder of social enterprise EkoDizajn doo. After the analysis we have conducted through the project, we were recognised as such. After the analysis of a large number of companies in BiH, it is concluded that 27 companies fall under the group of social.
The round table was realized in the framework of the project “Contribution of civil society to the development of social enterprise”, whose implementation is financed by the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and implemented by non-governmental organizations “Foundation of local democracy” from Sarajevo and the Foundation “Lara” from Bijeljina.
