Life skills for the future – let’s study, let’s work! IV part (19.06.2015 – 23.03.2016) The project is being implemented with 200 students in 20 elementary schools from 7 municipalities: Prijedor, Gradiška, Živinice, Maglaj, Brčko, Bijeljina and Mostar. The main objective of the project is the development of key competencies and life skills in students of VII, VIII and IX grade of primary schools through active learning for entrepreneurship to increase competitiveness on the labour market. We want to move to a more market-accurate way of thinking in children and youth and prepare them for new economic trends. By encouraging entrepreneurship way of thinking and the development of entrepreneurship competence in children, the project will in the long term contribute to maximizing employment and the efficiency of the system of social and economic security. This project represents the initial step towards the integrated life skills and key competencies in the curriculum and the education system at all. The project is funded from the program “Support permanent solutions of the Revised strategy for implementation of Annex VII of the Dayton peace agreement” funded by the European Union in cooperation with UNICEF.
