Eco baskets contain seasonal vegetables and fruits (and occasionally medicinal and spicy herbs, and flowers) tha the EcoDesign team grows on the farm Nešto Više in Humilišani.
The contents of the basket are tentatively known in advance, but will never be identical. It is a mixture of all seasonal crops that mature naturally in a greenhouse and orchard for our clients. The weight of the basket varies, depending on the season and the crops that are ready to be picked. For example, in the winter or early spring season of greens, when there is no fruit to pick, it is expected that the basket is lighter because it will be filled with chard, cabbage, salads, spring onions… while during the summer or autumn season will weigh more because of crops that are heavier such as cucumber, potato, tomato, cherry, apple.etc.
Currently, all products in the basket are manufactured by the EcoDesign team on the farm Nešto Više.Over time, we will include in the baskets the products of responsible local eco-producers with whom we will pre-arrange the cultivation and purchase of fruits and vegetables, under the constant supervison of EcoDesign staff.. When a non-fruit product from the Nešto Više farm is found in the basket has been grown by a local producer with his7her name and address. All our associates-producers will have the obligation to allow customers to visit the place of cultivation and answer questions about how to grow the culture that customers received in the basket. The EcoDesign team will monitor the cultivation processes at other producers so that we can guarantee that it is eco-food cultivation. In case it is discovered that the associate does not follow the agreed instructions for organic farming, the EcoDesign team will immediately suspend any cooperation with that person.
