-Lecture “Growing oyster mushrooms” held

03/03/2016 Thursday, tonight was held the second, in a series of four lectures on mushroom growing for beginners, on the topic of “Growing oyster mushrooms”, organized by the Association of Citizens Something More. In a crowded hall at the Faculty of Agromediterranean, in front of 60 participants, prof.dr. Nezir Tanović spoke about the properties of oyster mushrooms from nature and from cultivation, the methodology of growing this mushroom, preparation of production space, necessary equipment, and phases of cultivation with values ​​of environmental parameters such as humidity, temperature, light intensity, etc. At the request of some of the participants, the lecture was extended to the topic of the use of medicinal mushrooms and medicinal plants in the prevention and treatment of the most common diseases.
For the next lecture, where the topic will be “Shiitake cultivation”, prof. dr. Tanović also announced important guest lecturers who will talk about their many years of practice in growing this medicinal mushroom.
