Within the project “Inclusion against Discrimination of Persons with Disabilities “(PWD)”, and in accordance with the signed cooperation agreement between the Center for Business Education (CPe) and the Association of Citizens Nešto Više, CPe has adapted the premises where education for persons with disabilties will take place (persons with a physical type of disability, persons in wheelchairs, persons with mobility difficulties or users of orthopedic aids). A team of experts from the Association of Citizens “Nešto Više” (UGNV) consisting of Selma Basic, B.Sc. and Senad Medić, B.Sc.eng.constr.in the presence of project staff: Belma Hadžimahmutović, project manager, UGNV, Jelena Backović, project assistant from UGNV and Emir Hulusić. director of PJ CPe Sarajevo, Multicom d.o.o. 24.12.2012. year, made an overview of the situation and recommendations on what should be adjusted in the facility so that people with disabilities can freely attend the training. Accordingly, our IT education partner, CPe recognized the importance of the project and the needs of users, people with disabilities and accordingly invested its resources in the adaptation of the space and completed the planned works by the set deadline. A team of UGNV experts in the same composition yesterday, 31.01.2012. reviewed the adjustments made and concluded tha the facility is available to the end users of the project (OSI), who will have their first activities in the premises of CPe in March 2012. Some of the adjustments made are:
-A ramp has been installed at the entrance to the building
-The elevator is leveled
-A lock has been instaalled in the elevator so that it can be moved without closing the wooden door with a key
-A small mounting ramp was made at the entrance to the toilet
-A mounting elevator has been placed on the toilet so that paraplegics can move on to the toilet
Installed fixed brackets in the toilet etc.
