-Training on the basics of business planning and preparation of a business plan

On behalf of UG Nešto Više, Duško Cvjetinović held a three-day training on the basics of business planning and preparation of a business plan for the needs of staff and members of the Association of Dystrophic Patients Teslić, which was held from 23 to 25.08.2010. year, in the premmises of the Association of Dystrophic Patients in Teslić.

The participants of the training used two sets of materials: a manual for making a business plan and a workbook that they filled out during the training, how individual thematic units were processed. The workbook was made so that after the training, the participants had the first drafts of their business plans, with tables showing financial flows.

The training went according to the planned schedule and the following units were processed, chronologically:

Introducing the participants, getting acquainted with the topic and dynamics of the training;

Business plan- content and purpose; Defining and analyzing a business idea;

Description of products/services, characteristics of the industry;

Sales plan-market and competition; SWOT analysis; Technical-technological aspects;

Organizational structure, management and staff;

Location;

Product/service marketing;

Risk assessment;

Dynamic/time plan;

Appendices to the business plan and financial calculations;

Sales plan;

Marketing costs;

Equipment and costs;

Staff costs;

Costs of raw materials/ raw materials;

Depreciation;

Initial operating payments-working capital;

Financial plan;

Loans;

Total costs on a monthly basis;

Profit Forecasting-Income statement;

Cash flow-CASH FLOW.

Participants developed one business idea, which they defined themselves. The processed ideas were:

mini printing house,

production of clothes,

fruit drying dryer,

car paint shop,

production of folk costumes for cultural and artistic societies,

fish farming,

chicken breeding and shop/service of computer equipment and computer software.

They all presented their ideas to each other and discussed each segment of developing business ideas together.
