PUBLIC CALL FOR UNEMPLOYED INDIVIDUALS FROM BANOVIĆI to apply for participation in the Retraining/Professional Development Program for Occupations in Demand based on labor market needs in the Municipality of Banovići.

NGO “Nešto Više” in collaboration with the Municipality of Banovići and other partners forming the Local Employment Partnership Banovići (LPZ Banovići), within the framework of the project “Support to European Union Local Employment Partnerships – Phase II” (LEP II) funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Labour Organization in Bosnia and Herzegovina, invites unemployed individuals to apply for training, retraining/professional development for occupations needed in the local community.

The project plans retraining/professional development for 60 unemployed individuals (both women and men) at approximately 1500 KM per person. Planned funds for implementation under this Public Call are secured from EU funds. The retraining/professional development for selected individuals will be fully subsidized. Adequate protective gear, transportation, meals, and insurance will be provided for the practical part of the training.

Candidates who successfully complete the retraining/professional development will receive accredited vocational qualifications and opportunities for employment in local companies.

Under this Public Call, retraining refers to education where unemployed individuals acquire knowledge and skills for a different occupation than the one they currently possess.

Trainings will be conducted by the Adult Education Center EDUKON UNIVERZA Banovići and MSŠ Banovići, which offer certified adult professional development programs in accordance with the Adult Education Act. The practical part of the training will be organized in local companies that are members of LPZ.

The duration of trainings is determined by adult education regulations, and for each selected individual, based on their current qualifications and desired retraining, a training plan and duration will be established.

Applications are to be completed at the LPZ Banovići office (ground floor of BKCa/city cinema).

The call is open for 21 days until August 4, 2022.

In addition to the listed occupations, training can be organized for other occupations of interest to unemployed individuals and needed in the local community.

When completing the application form at the LPZ office, the following documentation must be provided:

  1. Certificate from the Banovići Employment Bureau confirming registration as an unemployed individual
  2. Copy of school diploma as proof of possession of a specific occupation or qualification level Certificate of disability (if applicable)

Candidates will be ranked based on the date and time of application to this Public Call, as well as other criteria (age, difficult-to-employ categories, gender, etc.).
