Our colleague Adem finished his training today with very interesting groups. We hope that the participants will soon use new knowledge and skills related to social entrepreneurship and management in practice. Within the project “O.P.T.I.O.N.” in Sarajevo and Mostar from 09.13. and a training on the topic of Social Enterprise Management was held from 16 to 20 May. Participants in the training were people with disabilities, members of their families, leaders of associations of people with disabilities and humanitarian organizations interested in starting a social enterprise.
The establishment of a social enterprise is one of the activities of the O.P.T.I.O.N. so the aim of the training was to present to the participants specific and practical tools that reduce risk in starting and developing business management skills in preparation for opening a social enterprise. The trainers were Daniele Bombardi as an international and an employee of UG Nešto Više Adem Lisičić as a local lecturer, experts in social enterpreneurship and management.
Thirty participants from the NGO sector were given information, tools and advice to assess the feasibility of a business idea. Special emphasis was placed on the development of business plans and marketing strategies.
