The project “Support to Agricultural Development in Herzegovina”, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Association of Citizens “Something More”, supports the introduction of HACCP quality system and GLOBALGAP standards for farmers and SMEs from Herzegovina. HACCP quality system has been successfully introduced in the company “Šumski Plod” d.o.o. from Prozor-Rama, which is engaged in the production and sale of mushrooms, forest fruits and berries, and in the Family Cellar “Sušac” Cerno from Ljubuški, which is engaged in wine production. Naturalis d.o.o. from Prozor-Rame was successfully supported in the introduction of the GLOBALGAP standard, Option 2, group raspberry production. In addition, contracts were signed with 5 other SMEs that are supported for the introduction of HACCP quality standards, for SMEs from Mostar, Siroki Brijeg, Bileca and Trebinje. Their certification is expected by the first half of October this year.
