A training for teachers from seven municipalities in BiH was held in Teslić from 26 to 28 August 2015 as part of the project “Life skills for the future – we learn, we work!”. At the three-day training, teachers from 20 primary schools acquire knowledge and skills on making business plans, which they will pass on to students in the coming period so that they can make their business plans for participation in the Idea Fair in December. One of the goals is for children and teachers to transfer knowledge and skills to others in their schools in the coming period, where they will launch ‘Entrepreneurship Sections’, for which an annual program has also been agreed at the training. The training was attended by teachers and their future mentors from the municipalities of Prijedor, Gradiška, Živinice, Maglaj, Brčko, Bijeljina and Mostar.
The training is part of the European Union-funded project “Support to Permanent Solutions to the Revised Strategy for the Implementation of Annex VII of the Dayton Peace Agreement”, implemented by UNHCR in cooperation with UNICEF and other UN agencies and NGOs. Implementer of the component “Life skills for the future – we learn, we work!” is the Association of Citizens “Something More”.
