The establishment of the Rural Development Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a positive step forward in the comprehensive process of rural development in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The network has existed since April 2014 and currently has 18 organizations, of which 13 are civil society organizations, and the remaining 5 organizations are Local Action Groups. The Rural Development Network in BiH is a serious partner to the public sector in policy making, and a useful tool of civil society that contributes to the work of the public sector.
In order for the civil sector to be recognized as a serious partner to the public sector in the field of rural development, civil society organizations must have certain competencies in that sector and transparency in their work. The civil sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina is strong in quantity, but there is still work to be done to ensure the strength of the civil sector in quality as well. With the aim of further strengthening civil society in the sector of agriculture and rural development, the Rural Development Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina announces

Therefore, on this occasion, we invite all organizations involved in the activities and implementation of projects in the rural development sector to send a completed application for membership to one of the e-mail addresses: m.savic@aced.org.ba, tule@redah.ba or coordinator @ ruralnamreza.ba, and in that way express their interest in strengthening the capacity, ie in the work and development of the Rural Development Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
