A training for teachers from five municipalities in BiH was held on Jahorina from October 7 to 9, 2014, within the project “Life skills for the future – we learn, we work!”. During the three-day training, teachers from 20 primary schools together with mentors acquired knowledge and skills on making business plans, which they will pass on to students in the coming period so that they can make their business plans to participate in the Ideas Fair in December. One of the goals is for children and teachers to transfer knowledge and skills to others in their schools in the coming period, where they will launch ‘Entrepreneurship Sections’, for which an annual program was also adopted at the training. The training was attended by teachers from the municipalities of Bosanki Petrovac, Živinice, Derventa, Foča and Mostar.
The project is implemented by the Association of Citizens “Something More”, and is funded under the program “Support to Permanent Solutions of the Revised Strategy for the Implementation of Annex VII of the Dayton Peace Agreement” funded by the European Union and implemented by UNHCR in cooperation with UNICEF and other UN agencies.
