As lately there is a pronounced trend for the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants, primarily due to the secured placement, at the invitation of Mr. Božo Ilić, we visited Ljbilje d.o.o. (Ljubinje), October 31, 2014, where we primarily got acquainted with the range of their products starting from the production of seedlings of immortelle, lavender, sage and heather, through their plantation, production of essential oils, a whole range of different teas, all the way to buying raw materials . Due to the extremely high interest in this production, we discussed opportunities for education and potential procurement of high quality planting material. Representatives of Ljbilj Ljubinje donated 100 immortelle and lavender seedlings to the Association, which were planted on the experimental farm Nešto Više in Humilišani, and which will serve as an example of good practice in growing medicinal herbs for all our future users.
