“Writing projects according to the EU methodology” was held on February 28 and March 1, 2014 in the premises of the primary school in Đulići, Teslić municipality.
The workshop was led by Velibor Sudar from the Association of Citizens “Something More”.
Upon completion of the training, participants should be introduced to the methodology of developing a project application that meets the requirements of EU funds. The training covers the following chapters: what needs to be done before writing a project application; steps in developing a project idea into a project; what is the project cycle and its 6 phases; project proposal components; description of the problem or need, problem tree; goals: general and specific and how to define them; expected results; indicators; means of verification; target groups and project beneficiaries; evaluation and evaluation methods; activity table; budget development.
On the second day of the training, the matrix of the logical framework was presented and the individual steps in filling in the matrix were defined.
Since most of the training participants declared themselves as beginners in the development and writing of the project at the very beginning, the training started from the basic concepts and definitions, which were further developed during the training.
During the training, concrete examples were presented, ie some of the project proposals financed by the EU were shown, so that the participants could get an impression of the scope and complexity of such a project proposal.
The training was attended by representatives of non-governmental organizations from Teslić, representatives of the Association of Dystrophic Patients, as well as several independent agricultural producers from several local communities in the municipality of Teslić (a total of 22 participants).
The training methodology also included the work of the participants in small groups on defining the elements of the project proposal on the topics that the participants defined on solving the problems and needs identified by the participants themselves.
Topics of interest are: increase the participation rate of young people in local government structures; improve information literacy of persons with disabilities; to promote the development of fruit growing and cooperation between fruit growers and beekeepers in the Municipality of Teslić.
Participants showed interest through interaction in the training itself and in working in small groups. Several project ideas crystallized during the two days of training, on which the participants intend to continue working.
The Association of Citizens “Something More” in partnership with the Association of Citizens “Modus” from Teslić has launched a project aimed at establishing an online Resource Center.
The project is supported under the LOD III project funded by the European Union from the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA), and implemented by UNDP.
