-Summer PeaceTrails volunteer action in Teslić is over

In the period from 18 to 26.07.2012. year, 29 members and volunteers of the Association of Citizens “Nešto Više” worked on a large summer volunteer action in Teslić, within the Peace Trails Scholarship Program. During the action, two new playgrounds were made for children in Đulići and Pribinić. in the area of primary schools, while in the city itself, two playgrounds were built in the settlement of Radolinka, and in the area of the Palčić kindergarten. Volunteers also refreshed and with a modest contribution improved the office of the Association of Dystrophic Patients Teslić. Volunteers at the action were:

Anja Cvjetinović (East Sarajevo), Miloš and Jovana Tanasković (Višegrad), and Varvara Šešlija (Sarajevo) as our youngest volunteers, then Željana Zeljaja (Istočna Ilidža), Anđela Šešlija, Kristina Šešlija, Senad Medić, Adnan Zisko, Meliha Mulahalilovic, Lejla Ribic, Jelena Backovic, Adnan Cavcic, Adem Lisicic (Sarajevo), Angelina Lucic, Jelena Cvjetinovic, Dusko Cvjetinovic (East Sarajevo), Dusko Stojanovic (Teslic), Miroslav Bundaolo, Borisa Mandic, Aleksandar Bundalo (Banja Luka), Dušan Kosić (Mrkonjić Grad), Marina Djukić Narić, Milan Narić (Kotor Varoš), Sanja Tanasković, Njegoš Tanasković (Višegrad) and Željka Rubinić, Mario Fofić and Sanja Đermanović (Mostar).

The Association of Citizens “Nešto Više” provided financial resources for the purchase of furniture for children’s playgrounds, while the Municipality of Teslić provided all other necessary tools, machinery and materials. UG Nešto Više would like to take this opportunity to thank the Mayor of Teslić, Mr. Sava Kasapović, and his young team that worked with us in the field: Draginja Sladojević, Nataša Jovićić -Vuković, Dragana Mišić, Dragiša Kovačević and Duška Stojanović, who made an effort to our volunteers in Teslić feel welcome and useful. The staff of the Municipality of Teslić awarded letters of thanks to all volunteers of UG Nešto Više for their contribution to the development of the Teslić community, and they also organized a special evening of socialzing after hard work. We especially thank the valuable staff of the Association of Dystrophic Teslić Mrs. Slavica Parežanin and Saša Ćumurović, and their volunteer Maria Ćumurović, with whom we continue to gladly continue the cooperation we started in 2010. The Association of Citizens “Nešto Više” (BiH), through its Peace Trails Scholarship Program, regularly organizes volunteer actions throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to help local communities, organizations and individuals. In the last eight years, Nešto Više volunteers have carried out 65 volunteer actions in 45 local communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and three actions to help communities in the New Orleans region in the USA, after the tragedy that befell the area in 2005.
