As part of the activities of the project “Youth in Action”, a group of students from Trebinje were on a one-day visit to Grude, where together with their peers they helped implement their project in the local community. The action took place on the location of the school yard (painting fences and working in the yard), and the second part was a workshop in a nearby kindergarten where children from kindergarten had the opportunity to participate in a workshop organized by students from Grude, with the help of their peers from Trebinje. A lecture was held on Herzegovinian traditional objects, which were made by children in the kindergarten, with the help of students from Trebinje and Grude, and which remain in the permanent ownership of the kindergarten. The visits were attended by the director of the school in Trebinje Vasiljko Skrivan, professor-mentor Slađana Skočajić, as well as the hosts from Grude, director Mladen Leko and professor-mentor Zora Palac. The project is supported by the Embassy of the United States of America in BiH.
