The second two-day training entitled “Communication skills, negotiation and CV writing” was held in Sarajevo on 19 and 20 May 2012, within the project “Inclusion against discrimination of persons with disabilities” for two groups of a total 30 project beneficiaries, who in addition to IT training, they will be educated on various topics in the filed of personal and specific skills in the coming months of the project. The training was held by staff and volunteer of the Association of Citizens “Nešto Više” Angelina Lucic, Adisa Kablar and Edin Balalic. The objectives of the training were: To present quality and effective way of presentation, to show users through an interactive lecture and exercises how to prepare for an interview with a potential employer. The exercises were done by showing numerous positive and negative examples, which led the users to get involved in the discussion and share their experiences, which indicated what to do and not to do when interviewing for a job. On the second day of the training, work was done on creating quality CVs of all 30 users, which will be used to create a catalog of biographies/CVs of project participants. The catalog will be sent to potential employeers through the Public Institution “Employment Service of Sarajevo Canton” and presented to the media with the aim of possible employment of some of the project beneficiaries. At the same time, they will work on sensitizing the wider community on the issues of employment of persons with disabilities, and emphasize that persons with disabilities are resposible, quality and loyal employees if given the opportunity. At the end of the training, the useres were awarded certificates of attendance at the training: “Communication skills, negotiation and CV writing” which was conducted within the project “Inclusion against discrimination of persons with disabilities”. The project is funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in BiH.
