A three-day training for mentors on the project “Life skills for the future-Let’s learn, let’s do it” Was held from 27 to 29 Februry 2012 in Sarajevo at the Grand Hotel. Four expert mentors from four regions of BiH were engaged in the project: for the Banja Luka region, the mentor is Nataša Petrašević Žole for the Mostar region the mentor is Edna Haznadarević. for the Sarajevo region the mentor is Ramiza Lisičić, and for the Tuzla region the mentor is Amir Suljagić. In addition to the mentors, Belma Hadžimahmutović and Adem Lisičić participated in the training on behalf of UG Nešto Više and, i part, Vesna Banović on behalf of UNICEF. The training consisted of three parts:
- Introducing mentors to the project and implementation phases,
- Introducing mentors to the Entrepreneurship Module made for this project to help teachers work with students on developing entrepreneurial ideas and making mini business plans
- Introducing the mentor to the activities they will perform in the next three months. The project” Life skills for the future-Let’s do it!” Aims to develop key competencies and life skills of students in VII, VIII and IX grades of primary schools through active entrepreneurial learning to increase competitiveness in the labor market. The participation of 500 students from 17 YERP municipalities is planned, who together with their teachers will go through the process of “Learning through work” on entreprenurship, which should result in 50 small entrepreneurial projects that will be implemented and presented at a large fair in June 2012 in Sarajevo. The project is supported by MDG-F through the Youth Employment and Retention Program.
