Within the project “Development of agricultural cooperatives”, on Wednesday, 06.04.2011. A coordination meeting of the team working on the introduction of the GlobalGap standard in agricultural cooperatives was held in the office of the Association of Citizens “Nešto Više” in Sarajevo. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Association of Citizens “Nešto Više”, the Association “Center for Development and Support” Tuzla, as well as consultants who actively work with cooperatives and agricultural producers and prepare them for certification. At the meeting, the activities carried out so far were presented and a plan for the next period was made. GlobalGap is being introduced in seven agricultural cooperatives, of which one cooperative is certifying its own apple production, while the remaining six cooperatives are introducing a group certificate with their subcontractors. A total of 199 subcontractors. A total of 199 subcontractors in six cooperatives will be covered by the certificate. Consultants are on the ground every day and actively work with farmers and cooperative staff. Cooperatives included in the project are: Agricultural Cooperative “Agrokoraj” from Koraj, Agricultural Cooperative “Brka” from Brcko District, Agricultural Cooperative “Gračanka” from Gračanica, Agricultural Cooperative “PMG VIP” from Gradačac General Agricultural Cooperative” Voćar “from Zvornik and Agricultural Cooperative ” Agropodrinje “from Goražde.
