Two more in a series of expert consultations for subcontractors and cooperative management to increase capacity in the fight against drought within the USAID-funded project “Capacity Building for Drought Adaptation in Agribusiness” were held in Šatorovići on May 7, 2011 and in Gradačac on May 12.2011. The expert conference in Šatorovići was attended by about 40 participants, including the management and subcontractors of ZZ Brka, Brčko, while the conference in Gradačac was attended by about 25 participants, including the management and subcontractors of ZZ PMG VIP Gradačac. The expert conference was held by agronomist Stevan Mesarović, and consisted of two working sessions, as follows:
- Management of the adaptation of the fruit and vegetable sector to drought on farms and
- Technical solutions of the irrigation system.
