-Opening of the Local Volunteer Service in Mostar

On December 2, 2011, the official opening of the Local Volunteer Service was held in the premises of the Association of “Nešto Više” in Mostar. This project is being implemented in cooperation with the Banja Luka Youth Communication Center and the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina. A local volunteer service is a place where all interested individuals can come and apply for volunteering at a public institution or non-governmental organization that needs volunteers for a certain activity, and in accordance with the interest of the volunteers.

The opening was attended by representatives of public institutions, as well as representatives of the non-governmental sector. On this occasion, the coordinator Edin Balalić said “Nešto Više” about the principle and manner of work of LVS, and through informal socializing with the guests there was a conversation about potential cooperation with LVS.

We would like to once again thank the friends and guests of the Nešto Više Association who  increased this day with their presence in the hope that in the coming period we will achieve good cooperation and give positive examples of volunteerism.
