As part of the initiative “Citizens for Europe”, the Vesta Association organized a meeting to consult with civil society on the topic “Improvement of agriculture and rural development of BiH, on the road to the EU”, on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. at 10.45 am, in the Congress Hall of the Bristol Hotel in Mostar. The Vesta Association is leading the implementation of the second phase of the “Citizens for Europe” initiative, under the auspices of the EU Special Representative, N.E. Valentina Inzka, and with the support of the Kingdom of Sweden, through SIDA, and is implemented by 38 non-governmental organizations from BiH, to ensure the commitment and public commitment of newly elected government officials to implement recommendations and requests of citizens in the fields of energy and environment, labor and employment, agriculture and rural development. A representative of the Association “Nešto Više” participated in the meeting, along with about 70 other representatives of the civil sector. The meeting in Mostar was attended by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to BiH, HE Tomas Szunyog, experts in the field of agriculture and rural development in BiH, and other prominent individuals who have experience and expertise in this field, along with representatives of civil society.
