Citizens’ Association “Nešto Više” Sarajevo and “Youth Communication Center” Banja Luka within the project “Get a job by volunteering, volunteer to get a job”, held on March 9 and 10, 2011 in Tuzla two trainings for student volunteers from the area Tuzla with the help of local non-governmental organizations and institutions. The goal of the training is for students to get acquainted with the ways of volunteering, how to fit into organizations, how to plan goals and how to evaluate their work. In this way, the organizeds want to acquaint volunteers with their rights and obligations as volunteers, and to encourage volunteering as many students as possible.
Students will be engaged in volunteer work in organizations in Tuzla that have previously gone through a three-day training on how to accept volunteers and on what tasks to engage them.
The events in Tuzla that preceded today’s training are “Public forum on the promotion of the law on volunteering in FBiH”, a round table on “The importance of volunteering for higher education”, and a three-day training for NGOs and institutions. The project “Get a job by volunteering, volunteer to get a job” is supported by the CCI Center for Civil Initiatives.
