Citizens’ Association ” Nešto Više” in partnership with GOPA mbH- Youth Employment Program (YEP) will provide employment for three young people aged 18 to 30 as well as occasional employment for a minimum of 20 additional people of the same age category in three rural communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Through the procurement of three universal dryers for processing fruits, mushrooms and medicinal herbs, organizing education and creating a two-year business plan, users will be able to work with fruit and herbs, and gain practical work experience. The project will, in addition to providing income for new employees, promote, develop and support the development of agriculture, as well as the responsible use and exploitation of natural resources (mushrooms and wild herbs). The implementation of the project takes place in the period from August 2010 to April 2011.
The project is supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Austrian Agency for Technical Cooperation (ADA).
