Call for Applications: Workshop – Women in Politics in Local Communities

We are inviting you to participate in the workshop “Women in Politics in Local Communities”, which will take place from November 29 to December 1, 2024, at Jahorina.

This workshop is designed to strengthen the role of women in political life at the local level, promote equality, and empower women for active participation in decision-making processes. During the three-day interactive training, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop knowledge about political processes in local communities,
  • Strengthen their leadership skills,
  • Learn about the challenges and opportunities women face in politics,
  • Build a support network with women who share similar ambitions and goals.

The training will be led by mentors in political sciences, who will provide participants with effective strategies for successful engagement in local politics and for improving their professional capacities.

The workshop is open to all women interested in political engagement, regardless of prior experience. It covers various aspects of women’s participation in politics, including topics such as leadership, public speaking, political campaigns, and strategies for involving women in local political processes.

The training is free of charge for all participants, and transportation, accommodation, and meals (full board) will be covered by the organizers.

Applications are open until November 22, 2024 via the link.
