Based on the interest of persons with disabilities from the entire Sarajevo Canton to participate in the project and our inquiry, on 31.1.2012.
The Association of Citizens “Nešto Više” received official approval from donors, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in BiH, to expand the project area for the needs of the project “Inclusion against Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities (PWD)”.
Therefore, persons with disabilties who have an interest in participating in non-formal education, and come from the area of nine municipalities of the cantons: Ilidža, Ilijaš, Trnovo, Vogošća, Hadžići, Novi Grad, Stari Grad, Centar or Novo Sarajevo can apply for participation in non-formal education in the field of informatics (business informatics, graphic design and auto cad), personal and specific life skills (development of projects/business plans). The space of the Business Education Center is adapted for wheelchair users (CPe has removed all architectural barriers to movement), and transportation will be provided for selected participants. The goal is to increase the competitiveness of PWDs on the labor market and the possibility of their employment in all nine municipalities of the Canton.
Target group: 30 unemployed young peole with physical disabilities (users of wheelchairs or other orthopedic mobility aids), aged 18-40, living in the Sarajevo Canton and registered at one of the employment offices in the municipalities: Ilidža, Ilijaš, Trnovo, Vogošća, Hadžići, Novi Grad, Stari Grad, Centar and Novo Sarajevo.
