A representative of the Association of Citizens “Nešto Više” Sarajevo, Adem Lisičić, held a meeting with the Mayor of Živinice Samir Kamenjaković on the occasion of the drafting of the Gender Action Plan for the City of Živinice. In addition to the Mayor, the meeting was also attended by his advisor Salih Durić, Alma Suljkanović expertise cooperator for information and communication, then Elmir Krivalić director of BKC and Selma Zahirović who will work on the preparation of the analysis of the current situation related to gender. Representatives of the Municipality have started with the activities of developing the analysis of the current situation related to gender equality and our representative Adem Lisičić, together with them, discussed the details of the analysis, the formation of the working group for preparation of GAP and other future activities that follow.
Our goal is to be achieved through the mutual performance within the framework of this project and the empowerment of the role of women in society and support to local partnerships in the process of establishing effective mechanisms for the achievement of gender equality.
The town of Živinice, of course, with amenable services and within the level of disposable options, is actively involved in the implementation of the project activities.
