New project with CFLI- Empowerment of Women: Right to Shared Property and Inheritance, and Political Engagement

New project – Empowerment of Women: Right to Shared Property and Inheritance, and Political Engagement (2024.-2025.): The main goal of this project is to promote gender balance by empowering women in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a specific focus on two key aspects: property and inheritance rights, and active political participation. This goal will be achieved through a comprehensive approach that includes education, trainings, round tables, public campaigns, and support for women from various parts of the country. The aim of the project is to empower women and girls in BiH to understand and exercise their legal rights to property and inheritance and support them in overcoming legal and social barriers.

Project activities are designed to address the specific challenges faced by women, utilizing experiences and resources from urban areas to support women in rural areas. This approach allows for the integration of diverse perspectives and experiences, which is crucial for successfully promoting gender balance and ensuring equal rights for women in BiH.

The project is supported by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) Project value: 56,786 KM
