Technical Academy for Wood and Metal Processing Teslić (01/06/2013 – 30/11/2014): The project will introduce a program of professional development and retraining in the municipality of Teslić and the region of central Bosnia, with the aim of re-establishing the competitive advantage of the workforce in processing wood and metal industry, based on the integration of the concept of lifelong learning within the SME sector. The expected results are: Technical Academy for Wood and Metal Processing Teslić provides the space, technical equipment and qualified associates needed for efficient operation based on the best practical training in BiH and the EU; Development of professional education and programs for professional curriculum / certification in accordance with the needs of regional and local labor markets and relevant laws at the level of Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina; Selected teachers at the Teslić Academy have successfully completed the advanced Training for Trainers; Conducting regular professional education of students of the Technical School and advanced training in the industrial sector of wood and metal processing – The Academy will be established within the Secondary Technical School and will consist of 4 workshops / classrooms for adult education. The training will be organized for 2 occupations in the machine sector (machine parts designer and welder) and 2 in the wood sector (furniture designer and painter). A total of 150 people will be trained during the course of this project; The achievements of the Teslić Academy project will be promoted in the country and abroad.
