The International Sports Programming Initiative is funded by SportsUnited of the United States Department of State Burea of Education and Cultural Affairs and the United States Embassy.
The target group of the Program are young leaders aged 14 to 17 high school students who train basketball, as well as their coaches and teachers. 12 schools and / or clubs will be selected for this Program, and 36 young men and women (18 young men and women), members of the selected schools/ clubs.
One of the goals of this program is to promote intercultural understanding and cooperation through the development of basketball in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Funding for this program was provided by the Government of the United States of America, ie the State Bureau of Education and Culture and the Embassy of the United States of America in Sarajevo through the Sports United of the United States program. The program is implemented by the Center for Intercultural Education and Development, Gerogtown University in Washington, in cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina’s partner, the Citizens’ Association “Nešto Više”. All interested parties should send the completed forms to the email address applicationkamp@nestovise.org by February 1,2013 year. All institutions (clubs and /or schools) that apply will be notified by 01.03.2013 on its status.
