26/27.04.2012-as part of the activities of the project “Youth in Action”, the second planned “homestay” visit of students of the high school “Center of High Schools” Trebinje to their peers from the high school Antun Branko Simic in Grude was held. A total of 30 students from Trebinje, accompanied by school principal Vasiljko Skrivan and professor Sladjana Skocajic, spent two days visiting Grude where they had the opportunity to meet and spend the night in the families of their peers from Grude.
There was also a tour of the city’s sights, as well as a joint dinner and lunch.
On the second day of the visit, the students visited the Archaeological Museum and the Church in Gorica near Grude. Upon returning to school, the students played a friendly football match in the school sports hall.
During the match, the representatives of the American Embassy, Mrs. Rahela Džidić and Mr. James Hagengruber, came to visit and met the participants of the project and spent the rest of the visit in pleaseant company and conversation. The project is supported by the Embassy of the United States of America in BiH.
