The third meeting of the working group of the educational component of the YERP program (Youth Employment and Retention Program) was held on Monday, December 12, 2011. in Sarajevo at the Grand Hotel. In addition to the members of the working group, Belma Hadžimahmutović Aleksandar Bundalo and Adem Lisičić also participated in the meeting on behalf of UG Nešto Više. The meeting consisted of three parts:
- YERP Program educational component-Current activities and action plan for 2012
- Participation in the initial meeting in the project that the UNICEF component of the YERP program begins to work with the Association “Nešto Više”,
- Presentation of the project NGO OIA (Youth Information Agency), Sarajevo , The project “Life skills for the future-Let’s learn, let’s do it!” With the Association “Nešto Više” aims to develop key competencies and life skills of students VII, VIII and IX grades of primary schools through active entrepreneurial learning to increase competitiveness in the market work. The participation of 500 students from 17 YERP municipalities is planned. The project envisages the active participation of members of the YERP working group regarding the selection of schools, consultations related to the progress of the project as well as participation in the final conference where the project results will be presented. The project will be implemented in the next 10 months.
