In the period from March 29 to 31, 2011, a series of meetings were held with representatives of cooperatives, which are beneficiaries of the project “Capacity building for drought adapration in agribusiness”.
The training coordinator from the Association “Nešto Više”, Velibor Sudar, and the field coordinator from the Center for Development and Support Tuzla, Almir Zulić, visited 5 cooperatives namely: ZZ Brka, Brka-Brčko; ZZ Agrokoraj, Koraj; ZZ Vocar, Glumina- Zvornik; ZZ Gračanka, Gračanica and ZZ PMG VIP, Gradačac. The topic of the meetings was the preparation and holding of expert consultations for subcontractors and managmement of cooperatives in order to increase the capacity to implement innovative support measures in the fight against drought. According to the dynamic plan of the project, in the next quarter Nešto Više will, in partnership with the Center for Development and and Support Tuzla, organize 15 expert conferences on the fight against drought for the management and subcontractors of cooperatives.
