As part of the project “Get a job by volunteering – Volunteer to get a job”, in the hotel “Internacional” in Zenica, from 15 to 18 February, a three-day training was held for 15 representatives from 5 local NGOs with the aim of getting to know the best how to accept student volunteers into their organizations, and how to create volunteer programs derived from local volunteer policies in line with student needs.
In each organization, one supervisor (contact person) has been identified who will be in charge of monitoring and implementing volunteer programs in which student volunteers will be engaged. Based on their needs, project staff will provide additional assistance in terms of consultation and additional support in the implementation of volunteer programs .
The plan for each city where the project is implemented is to select 30 student volunteers to volunteer in 5 selected local NGOs. The competition was announced and announced at the Universities of Tuzla, Banja Luka and Zenica.
