On Thursday, August 29, 2024, as part of the project “Raising Awareness about Traffic Safety through Education,” a workshop was held for preschool children from the “More Nade” kindergarten. This workshop provided young participants with the opportunity to learn important aspects of safety through traffic simulation, using toy electric cars and motorcycles.
The children learned about proper behavior on sidewalks as pedestrians and how to act at pedestrian crossings. They also gained a basic understanding of traffic light signals. These activities were designed to help children grasp the importance of traffic rules and safety in a fun and interactive way.
In addition to workshops for preschoolers, the NGO NEŠTO VIŠE also conducts educational workshops for primary school children in the Novo Sarajevo Municipality, for students from grades I to VIII, as well as interactive lectures on traffic safety in primary schools. Workshops are held on Wednesdays from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM and Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the “International Center for Children and Youth Novo Sarajevo.”
From February 12 to November 11, 2024, the NGO NEŠTO VIŠE is implementing the project “Raising Awareness about Traffic Safety through Education.” This project is part of the Regional Program on Local Democracy in the Western Balkans 2 (ReLOaD 2), which is funded by the European Union and executed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with the support of the Novo Sarajevo Municipality.
