Regular volunteer activities have started within the project “Support to Agricultural Development in Herzegovina” implemented by UG Nešto Više and supported by USAID. Volunteers are on November 23 and 25, 2014. worked all day on the farm Nešto Više in Humilišani on activities of cleaning the facility, collecting and sorting organic materials for urban agriculture workshops, preparing holes for planting pomegranates, making self-watering systems for growing food and medicinal plants / flowers, and making autumn beds without digging for spring planting. The works will continue in accordance with the weather conditions, especially on weekends, and the activities will be adjusted to the composition of the volunteers and the weather conditions.
We thank all the volunteers who have joined us so far: our interns, friends of Something More, FPMOZ students, and all other interested people who want to help us build a demonstration farm, but also to learn new skills from the world of agriculture and urban agriculture. We especially thank our youngest volunteers, who (with the consent of their parents) equally participate in the activities, and learn about the topics of waste recycling and the importance of composting.
During the weekend (November 29-30, 2014) we continue with the work, so we invite all of you who want to join us, do something useful and spend time in good company to contact us at 066 711 277 or at. Welcome!
