“Improving the working environment of organizations of persons with disabilities” is a project in which UG Nešto Više, in collaboration with its long-time collaborators, organizations that are leaders in promoting rights of persons with disabilities from the area of Mostar is educating five young women on how to write projects.
Today, Aleksandar Bundalo, with the assistance of Sanja Đermanović, presented a challenge which makes the process of fundraising. We listened to two-minute presentations during which they presented their organizations to the entire group, and then we together examined and learned about propositions of open calls on which all young women/organizations will apply. We have studied everything that is expected from the applicants, and we thoroughly reviewed the application’s form, too.
In the second part of the workshop, as a team, we analyzed one of the products of the young women – SWOT analysis of one of the organizations, and we discussed the details and worked on a better selection of words to each item to be clear and in place.
For the next twenty days, they will, in collaboration with their coaches from Nešto Više and mentors from their base organizations, work intensively on the writing of specific projects. The next workshop will process the theme of budgets. We will transform activities into the financial parameters.
